AI Policy

We do not knowingly use AI in any of our treasure hunts or books.

• We do not have any reason to use AI for writing. We are confident in our ability to communicate.
• AI is trained on copyrighted work. AI companies have amassed giant datasets without respecting copyright licenses. Attribution of training sources is not given. We cannot use AI in good conscience whilst respecting our own creative work and legal rights.
• The AI industry is damaging to the creative industries in which we work. The human and environmental toll in pursuit of profit can’t be ignored. We are not willing to participate.
• AI challenges compliance with UK data protection laws.
