An open book. On the left is a map of... somewhere. On the right seems to be some sort of puzzle that needs solving.
It's a map. It shows a location. It is hand drawn and coloured in by coloured pencil. It looks like a child (or an idiot drew it). That's not going to help you though. I guess it's part of a puzzle that looking at the other page might help you solve.
Yup, it's a clue of some sort. In this case, it is a poem: "A Stone's throw betwixt Gibraltar and California, you need to start near In the days of domes -- a pepper seller -- one of 162 lived here Third in line toward the setting sun something there did sit What writ in plain old English is carved right there up on it?" Work that out and refer to the map and maybe... maybe, you can solve it.
